SASKATOON — The Collision Analyst Unit is investigating following a fatal collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian Wednesday night.
Shortly before 10 p.m. on July 23, police were called to the area of Idylwyld Drive North and Circle Drive for a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the adult female victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. Police say they and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures; however, she was declared deceased at the hospital a short time later.
Next of kin notifications have been made and police say they will not be releasing the victim’s name.
Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and they are continuing to investigate.
