ESTEVAN — Estevan Mercury was celebrating Fire Prevention Week in October 2001.
The special section was honouring local firefighters and their service.
Members of the fire department at that time were Fire Chief Rick Perry, Deputy Fire Chief Ron Tocker and firefighters Chad Perrault, Larry Erickson, Clinton Davies, Peter Fedyk, Dustin Sands, Dave Pangborn, Larry Pangborn, Rick Matte, Jan Nijman, Travis Perry, Mike Romanyk, Victor Frank, Neil Kish, Dean Hopper, Rick Davies and Dean Nagel.
Members missing from the photo were Gerry Aspen, Gordon Kobitz, Curtis LeBlanc, Rob Peter, Cory Prokop, Randy Romanyk, Chris Sakundiak, Gene Stephany and Mark Walliser.
