A fog advisory was issued Wednesday night.

SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - The fog advisory that was in effect for southern Saskatchewan has been lifted.

Environment Canada sent the advisory out just before 8 p.m. Wednesday and included Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Regina, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Assiniboia and other areas. It was lifted early Thursday.

There is still some fog in the region, and according to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, there is reduced visibility on a few highways east of Estevan.

Fog advisories were also in effect in some areas earlier on Wednesday, resulting in treacherous driving conditions. Highway 39 from the junction with Highway 1 to Corinne, and travel not recommended advisories were applied to other routes.
