Portion of Fourth Street in Estevan to be closed on April 26

The 1000-block of the arterial road will be shut down due to water valve installation.

ESTEVAN - The City of Estevan announced that part of Fourth Street would be closed.

According to a message on the Voyent Alert App, the 1000-block of the arterial road, from Souris Avenue South to 11th Avenue, wouldbe shut down due to water valve installation. The closure is to begin at 9 a.m. on April 26. At the time, the city said the closure would last overnight and into April 27. 

Vehicle traffic was requested to use an alternate route as access around the site will be restricted. This closure will not affect sidewalks for pedestrian traffic.  It is recommended to avoid this area until the construction work has been complete.
