SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - Residents of southeast Saskatchewan who are looking to travel on Good Friday had to contend with some challenging highway conditions.

A late-March system has brought some snow to the southeast.

According to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highways Hotline, winter conditions existed on routes for most of the region. There were such issues as loose snow, swirling snow, and icy or slippery sections. Visibility has been good.

Now the hotline shows most highways in the Estevan, Carlyle and Weyburn areas have seasonal driving conditions. There are still a few that have winter conditions.
