It’s the Alida Ladies one-day bonspiel on Feb. 26 beginning in the morning with six-end games being played. There will be a few local vendor tables displaying their wares, and a Chinese auction table with many interesting donated items. You can be sure that the teams will be dressed-up in their finest costumes. A fried chicken supper with all the trimmings will be served to all participants, as well as to anyone who wishes to attend. Hope we’ll see you at the rink.

On Feb. 20, Kitchen Group 2 served up 30 breakfasts. It was great to see all of the usual bunch guests who comes from near or far to our breakfasts at the rink. Next week it will be Kitchen Group 3 at the helm, hoping to defeat the Breakfast Challenge record of 49.

Stay safe, everyone, and stay warm.
