City of Weyburn offers summer activities to youth

It's the same thing every summer. The kids are bored, driving you crazy and you can't wait until school starts up again. Well, the City of Weyburn will be offering a variety of Youth Activities this summer.

It's the same thing every summer. The kids are bored, driving you crazy and you can't wait until school starts up again.

Well, the City of Weyburn will be offering a variety of Youth Activities this summer. Swimming lessons, tennis lessons, Fun in the Sun Day Camp and Signal Hill Arts Centre programs are just some of the fun that will help you keep your children busy this summer.

The Young Fellows Spray Park is now open and will remain open until September 7 (weather permitting). The outdoor pool at the Weyburn Leisure Centre will open on June 8 and will remain open until August 30. The Don Mitchell Paddling Pool will open on June 15 and remain open until Labor Day - September 7.

The Weyburn Leisure Centre outdoor pool will once again be offering free public swimming on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting July 1. Children and youth can swim, at no charge, during designated hours in the afternoon. Cenovus, the Rotary Club and Regens Disposal are once again sponsoring the free swim program.
