Ray and his wife Doris donated $155,000 to the initiative, which is housed in the Ron and Shirley Carson Diagnostic Centre. The Carsons donated $500,000. Other oilpatch-related major donations included Kelly and Arlene Lafrentz ($100,000) and Mel Grimes and family ($100,000).
