Pet Valu, Weyburn will be hosting a BBQ on May 2. The celebration is in conjunction with the announcement of the store's new owners.
The day starts off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m. introducing Melanie Adderley and Chad Ror, the new local owners of the Weyburn store. A barbecue lunch will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with all proceeds going to Prairie Sky Dog Rescue.
There will be free dog washes all day, face painting, pet tattoos, pet photos and free giveaways. Everyone is invited to come down, meet the new owners and enter for raffle prizes.
