Search and rescue canine unit training happening in the southeast this weekend

Training will occur near Steelman on May 28 and around the Estevan Comprehensive School and Spruce Ridge School on May 29.

Search and rescue canine training will take place in southeast Saskatchewan this weekend.

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service has advised the public that Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers (SARSAV) canine teams will be conducting training in the Estevan area on May 28 and 29. 

Approximately eight to 10 canine teams will be participating in rural tracking training on May 28 at a location near Steelman, and in urban tracking training on the school grounds of the Estevan Comprehensive School and Spruce Ridge School from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 29.
