WAWOTA - A successful Wawota Christmas Market was held at the Village Inn last Saturday. Vendors rented 30 tables and there was a large variety of items for Christmas giving.

Dennis Niebergall, Carmen and Cash from Stony Plain, Alta., spent several days visiting with Stan and Bev Niebergall. While here, Dennis and Cash enjoyed some hunting.

Sympathy to the family of Ron Smulan of Regina who passed away on Nov. 13. He was 79 years old. He leaves his wife Sheila (New) and family of Carla, Shannon and Ryan, their spouses and family. He also is survived by brothers Ken (Bernie) and Garry (Gaye). A funeral service was held at the Wawota United Church on Nov. 19. Interment was in the Fernley Cemetery.

Denise Denouf has purchased the former home of Dan and Margurite Van Dresar on First Street. She says she now has room for all of her plants.

Norman Meyers is now a resident of the Moosomin Nursing Home.

Wawota would like to welcome Katlynn Hann and Damon Delory from Portaux Basque, N.L. They are living in Kayle Swanson's house on Walter St. and they work at Vaderstad 

Several families are attending Canadian Western Agribition in Regina from Nov. 22-27. This year marks the 50th time that the agricultural event has taken place. Hope to have news from there for next week.
