Wheatland Senior Centre to host month-end supper

WEYBURN - The Weyburn Wheatland Seniors Centre will host their month-end supper on Friday, April 29 at 5:30 p.m.

Those interested in attending are asked to phone the centre or come in to put their name on the attendance list, so organizers know how many to prepare for. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, April 27 before noon.

The centre needs at least 40 people to sign up to make the bus trip feasible or it will be cancelled, and as of April 18, there were 27 people signed up. There is room for 29 more people to sign up. Phone the centre at 306-842-3503 to add your name to the list.

A beef-on-the-bun lunch will be held on Wednesday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The centre will be serving beef on a bun, pie and coffee for $10 a person.

Bingo is held at the Wheatland every Thursday at 1 p.m. Slider cards are available for 50 cents each.

Some games were able to be held in the week of April 4-8, but a number had to be cancelled due to the snow storm.
