Join the Weyburn Parks Board for a free fun day of winter play.
To help celebrate Family Day, the First Annual Winterfest will be held at Jubilee Park on February 16 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Events include cross country skiing, snowshoeing and skating. (Please be sure to bring your helmet).
Volunteers will be serving hot dogs and hot chocolate as well. For anyone who is interested in staying indoors, the Leisure Centre will also be offering free swimming all day.
In addition, a craft class for ages 6 - 12 will take place at the Leisure Centre from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. For any more information regarding the Winterfest, residents can contact the City of Weyburn Engineering Department at (306) 848-3230.
