The Weyburn Horticultural Society met at the Perfect Inns & Suites convention room on September 28, where this year's winners were also presented with their trophies. Meta Murray won the Grand Championship D.J. Mitchell silver cup for total points from all categories, as well as the Joyce Hemphill Trophy for the best flower arrangement, and the Weyburn Young Fellows silver cup for total points for all flowers.

Tory Metheral won the Jim Weir silver cup for total points for all vegetables as well as the Gennie Girardin Trophy for the best container of sweet peas.

Grace Plonka won the C.W. Steel silver cup for total points for all gladioli, as well as the George and Anne Pierce Trophy for best three spikes of gladiolas and the Weyburn Horticulture Trophy for best floral art.

Marshall Watson was awarded the Swift Memorial Trophy for total points from the Junior class.

Irene Fradette won the Eva Howell Trophy for best house plant.

Delois Sunde was presented with the Jeanne Procknow Trophy for the best display of cut flowers.

Janet Van Winkoop won the Weyburn Horticulture Trophy for the best dahlia, as well as the C.H. Hurst Trophy for the best plate of tomatoes and the J.H. Spence Trophy for the best plate of crab apples.

Connie Watson won the Anne Pierce Trophy for Peoples Choice and Walker Watson was awarded the Ronald McDonald Award for the best novelty competition.
