The Signal Hill Art Gallery is featuring original paintings by members of the Weyburn Artists Workshop and the Hill Top Painters as a tribute to Elnora Olan, who was a member of both groups. Olan passed away in October and has been commemorated in this special exhibit by her peers, Bonnie Kaip, Eileen Johnson, Doris Anderson, Shelley Van de Sype, Linda McMurdo, Erna Murray, Mildred Thompson, Roland and Lois Olson and Rose Schmidt.

Elnora first joined the Hill Top Painters in 1997 and later joined the Weyburn Artists Workshop, acting as secretary/treasurer for the last eight years. Olan was a devoted member of the arts community.

"She was always our most steadfast member, showing up at SHAC every Tuesday morning, rain or shine," said Alice Neufeld, Arts and Culture Director for the City of Weyburn. "She was a great friend and a lovely lady. Everyone will miss her very much!"

"A Tribute to Elnora Olan" is on display at the Signal Hill Art Gallery until December 29.
