Residents are encouraged to "Hunt For History" with the Soo Line Historical Museum. Historical geocaching booklets are available at the museum for $20 for 20 weeks.

From May 16 to October 2, the Soo Line Historical Museum will release a geocache site, published in the Weyburn Review. All sites will be of historical significance to the Weyburn area.

The entry box for "Hunt For History" will be moved every week to a new location. Participants can drop off their ticket stubs in the drop off. One winner will be drawn every week for a prize. A grand prize at the end of the contest will also be drawn.

The Soo Line Museum is also raffling tickets for a $1,000 Co-op gift certificate, and these are available at the museum and from museum board members. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5. Draw on Oct. 19.

Got extra pennies? Participate in "Common Cents" at the Soo Line Historical Museum by dropping off these pennies in support of the operating budget for the museum. Residents who are unable to drop off pennies at the museum can contact their main office to arrange a pick up.

Pennies do not have to be rolled, they can be loose.

For more information on these fundraisers, residents can attend the next monthly meeting of the Soo Line Historical Society on Monday, May 7 at 7 p.m.
