Soo Line Camera Club Photographers Mary Jacobs, Sid Trepoff, Chris Walter, Art Beck, Art Wallace, John Woodward and Kim Schneider, will be competing in four black & white photography categories: "People", "Landscapes", "Flora" and "Fauna" at this weekend's Adjudication Exhibition presented by the Weyburn Arts Council at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery.
Regina Photo Club's Larry Easton and Wayne Risser, professional adjudicators from the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts, will judge the photographs on Sept. 23. The gallery will be closed during the adjudication proceedings at 2:00 pm.
Community residents are encouraged to attend the Opening Reception at the Allie Griffin on Sunday Sept 25 at 2:00 pm. The reception is a free-of-charge event supporting local photographers, and winners will be announced, ribbons will be presented, and refreshments will be served.
The exhibition will be on view from September 23 to October 6 at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery, during regular library hours at 45 Bison Avenue.
