Multicultural events at Library

The Southeast Regional Library, The Family Place and The Saskatchewan Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration have joined together to present a series of multicultural events in Weyburn.

The Southeast Regional Library, The Family Place and The Saskatchewan Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration have joined together to present a series of multicultural events in Weyburn. On Saturday, April 28 there will be a Grand Opening of Multicultural events at the Weyburn Public Library.

The event will begin at noon with a pot luck lunch, followed by comments by dignitaries. The afternoon will be filled with the introduction of Ukrainian dancers, speakers from the Regina Immigrant Women's Centre and Saskatchewan Organization of Heritage Languages, the introduction of East Indian dancers. An afternoon tea will take place at 3:15 and the event will end at 4:00 p.m.
