The Weyburn Crocus Quilt Guild will be offering a unique show on October 27. Anna Hergert, an award winning fabric artist from Buffalo Pound, will be in Weyburn offering a trunk show entitled, 'Choosing Creativity'. The public is invited to explore the traditional elements of cloth, thread, and dyes that can be in the hands of an artist.
Anna has been celebrated across Canada and the USA as well as Germany. She is an accredited quilt show judge and a member of the Saskatchewan Arts Council. She has won many awards for her works from Best of Show to juried events at Quilt Canada.
This trunk show will enable artists and quilters alike to have a glimpse of Anna's artistry. She believes in sharing hints and tips to achieve personal creative growth in unique designs.
The event will take place at Grace United Church at 7:30 PM. Tickets will be available at the door.
