Photo Club member favourites at Signal Hill Gallery

Photographic works by the South Saskatchewan Photo Club are on display at the Signal Hill Arts Centre. The works include winning entries from year end photo competitions and other favourites from club members.

Photographic works by the South Saskatchewan Photo Club are on display at the Signal Hill Arts Centre. The works include winning entries from year end photo competitions and other favourites from club members.

All members were invited to show their works. Contributing artists include Gary Cooney, Alvena Dubnyk, Amanda Payne, Elodie Carlton, Pat Parks Wilkes, Andrea Clarke, Andre Wilkins, John Woodward, Tina Hudson, Tara Keating-Jaap and Jon Gillies.

Themes are plants, animals, water and landscapes, people and experimental or digital. This show features a broad spectrum of photographs from a variety of perspectives and topics, offering something for every taste.

The South Saskatchewan Photo Club meets on a regular basis, every second Tuesday of the month, for presentations, discussions and socializing. The group also takes field trips, to apply their newly-learned skills that they had discussed at their meetings.

The display will be available for viewing until September 4. Summer viewing hours are from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
