Monday, September 19 is Parents' Night at WCS. All parents are asked to join us to meet your child's teachers as you follow a mini-schedule to find out about the different courses, evaluation, teachers' expectations and other important information. Parents are reminded that there will be compulsory student-parent interviews later on in the fall.
This week featured the South East District golf championship in Kenosee on Thursday. The WCS team of four boys and one girl will do their best to uphold the winning ways of Weyburn golfers over the past couple of years. Top placers will advance to provincials which will also be held in Kenosee.
The football team will play its first away game on Friday, September 16 after suffering two home game defeats in the last 10 days. The team is very young, with only a small number of Grade 12 students.
All three volleyball teams were in tournaments last weekend and this weekend the senior girls are in Brandon.
