During February, the Weyburn Duplicate Bridge Club has had fewer tables playing than normal. On February 1, with three tables playing, Jim Brown and George Gilles started the month by placing first, while Keith Eichel and Lucie Nickel came second.

On February 1, with three tables playing, Jim Brown and George Gilles started the month by placing first, while Keith Eichel and Lucie Nickel came second.

When three and a half tables played on February 6, Jim Brown and George Gilles had a strong night and took top honours, Lucie Nickel and Lydia Milleker came second, and there was a tie for third between Carmen Vilness and Andy Dumba and Marion Brown and Vivian Truscott.

On February 8 when four tables played, Gord Bell and Marg Stewart finished first, Andy Goeres and Roy Wallin were second and Isabelle Butters and Lucie Nickel came third.

There were only two tables that played on February 13 and Gord Bell and Marg Stewart took first place, and Andy Dumba and Chuck Widdis placed second.

On February 15 with three and a half tables that played, Marg Stewart and Gord Bell finished first, Jim Brown and Roy Wallin placed second, followed by a tie for third between Isabelle Butters and Andy Goeres and Lucie Nickel and Keith Eichel.

Four and a half tables played on February 20 and Gord Bell and Marg Stewart finished first, there was a tie for second between Marion Brown and Anne Balzer and John Whitell and Roy Wallin, and Jim Brown and Jean Knibbs came fourth.

February 27 had two and a half tables that played and placing first were Gord Bell and Marg Stewart, and finishing second were George Gilles and Andy Goeres.

There were three tables out on February 29 and Diane Bell and Andy Dumba finished first, followed closely by Jim Brown and George Gilles who placed second.

Bridge players are welcome to come and play duplicate bridge on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Wheatland Senior Centre.
