Weyburn Arts Council is currently displaying the works of students from the Weyburn Comprehensive High School and Weyburn Junior High. The exhibition, entitled, 'Youth View', will run until April 4 at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery, which is on the lower level at the Weyburn Public Library.

Youth View will reveal the artistic focus, as well as the talent, interests and concerns of younger artists.

With this exhibition, two important factors are clearly at work: the strong, individual talents of each young artist are obvious, while the consistently high calibre of the works reveals the high level of art instruction and strong encouragement that these students have been privileged to receive from their dedicated teachers.

Both these factors have exciting implications for Weyburn and area's contribution to the future Saskatchewan art milieu!
