Weyburn has a bright future in performing arts due in part to the plans underway for the Triple C Centre, which will be located at the Weyburn Comprehensive School (WCS).

The Crocus City Sams Chapter of the Good Sam Club recently met to elect officers for the upcoming year. Elected chapter presidents was Gerry and Erna Murray, succeeding current presidents Bea and Larry Ortman.

The Soo Line Museum staff and board are hoping you'll dig deep into your pockets so they can continue to dig deep into Weyburn's history. The second annual Soo Line Museum Gala Dinner will be held at the Weyburn Legion Hall on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The Weyburn Horticultural Society met at the Perfect Inns & Suites convention room on September 28, where this year's winners were also presented with their trophies. Meta Murray won the Grand Championship D.J.

Il Primo and Chelsea Woodard will be appearing in the Weyburn Concert Series second concert on October 3 at the Weyburn Comprehensive Cafetorium at 7:30 p.m.

The Credit union Gallery has reopened with a powerful tribute to summer, featuring an acrylic painting series by Oungre artist, Lyn Johnson. The series is entitled "A Garden Walk".

A Weyburn Culture Day Celebration is being held today (September 30) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion.
