Four-way stop approved for 16th Street and 1st Ave in Weyburn

A new four-way stop will be placed at the intersection of 16th Street NE and First Avenue NE to help control traffic in that area. City councillors addressed concerns in regards to the new signage during their monthly meeting on July 19.

The Weyburn Agricultural Society held their 102nd annual Fair and Exhibition on July 5, 6 and 7, hosting several 4-H competitions, the Midway, pony and chariot races, a petting zoo, several exhibits and a talent contest.

The Weyburn Public Library has several upcoming programs to help fill the summer months. The Summer Reading Program is for children aged six to 12 and takes place Monday to Thursday until August 15.
