Dayton Deics from the Estevan Bruins served up lunch for Christia Cruz and Chris Cruz on Wednesday at Murray GM as part of the kickoff for the United Way Estevan Telethon that was hosted by the dealership and Black Beard's Restaurant.
Many people turned out to enjoy a beef on a bun lunch, prepared by Black Beard’s and served by members of the Estevan Bruins. They could also make a donation to the United Way’s Telethon, which is happening Oct. 18 and 19.
The fundraiser generated $2,153.90 for the telethon.
