Green For Life Enviornmental Inc. has announced the purchase of the Regens Group, which includes local company Regens Disposal Ltd.
In a letter sent out to its customers, GFL announced that it had acquired Regens Disposal Ltd., the Coal Creek Landfill Corporation and 1011146691 Saskatchewan Ltd. Recycle Depot, effective Oct. 1.
"This acquisition continues GFL's commitment to grow in the Saskatchewan market following the July 2016 acquisition of Envirotec Services Incorporated, a leading provider of a broad range of liqud waste management services," the letter stated.
GFL is a national company with more than 130 facilities across Canada offering a broad range of solid and liquid waste collection and processing, waste transfer, recycling, soil treatment and infrastructure construction services.
Regens Disposal handled a number of services, including waste and recycling management, in many communities in the southeast, including Estevan.
No further information of the sale was immediately available.
