ASSINIBOIA - Oanh and his wife Kathy are nail artists and the owners of Victoria Nails and Spa. They have experience in international service and design, but with a focus on the individual requests of their customers.
“We have been in Canada almost three years,” said Oanh. “My wife Kathy was a nail artist in Vietnam. I trained and worked in Regina for two years. We have a good base of training and experience. We offer the same quality and service that you can get in the city. We want to keep our customers safe during this time, so there are some services that we are waiting on, such as eyebrow shaping, eyelash extensions, and waxing, but we hope to offer them soon in the future.”
For now, Victoria Nails provides an extensive selection of manicures, pedicures, nail extensions and nail art, with a rainbow of colours and patterns for the customer to choose from.
Clients of Victoria Nails have commented on how friendly and welcoming Oanh and Kathy are. “We love to enhance the natural beauty of our customers. It makes us happy when they are happy. Most people start with a manicure, or nail extensions, and then they decide they want a pedicure too. We have a lot of designs for Christmas and other holidays, and in their choice of colours.”
“Business is good. Local people are very supportive. We have customers from all around including other towns like Gravelbourg, Limerick, and Mossbank. Our customers are more than satisfied. They can get the same level of quality and style here as in Regina, and they don’t have to drive so far. We specialize in nails and so we can focus on giving you professional care.”
Oanh and Kathy have three children. “We feel so good in Canada, especially in Assiniboia. It is a small town but very lively. Our children love it here where they have more freedom. They like riding their bikes and playing with their friends.”
