An abundance of kittens

Emma Bitz plays with some curious kittens at the Weyburn Humane Society shelter, where she volunteers. The shelter currently has too many cats and kittens and wants to find "fur-ever" homes for them quickly. As such, they have reduced their adoption fees to $50 for kittens and $100 for spayed or neutered cats. The reduced adoption fees will last into September or until enough cats are adopted. The shelter is currently home to more than 18 cats, and they would like to find homes for at least half of them very quickly. For more information, contact the centre or visit the Friends of the Weyburn Humane Society page on Facebook.
