Over the past 10 years, Sandy Johnson and her three daughters have been spreading their Christmas cheer to residents of the community without anyone to spend the holidays with.

"We have donated $4,000 back into the community," said Johnson.

In 2003, Johnson's husband passed away, and she and her daughters, Jennifer, Ali and Mikki wanted to make a different memory for their own family. Spending it cooking Christmas Dinner for others is how JAMS Family Christmas Day Dinner idea came about.

Dinner takes place Wednesday, December 25 at Knox Hall beginning at 1 p.m.

Anyone wanting to come, can register until that day, however, they will accept walk ins. To register for the dinner call 306-842-3316. To help set up or take down call 306-861-2787.

"We will deliver to shut-ins as well as provide pick up for people who may need it," said Johnson.

A $10 donation is suggested, which will go to the Weyburn Humane Society.
