Update: Extreme cold warning lifted in the southeast

A blowing snow advisory has been issued in southeast Saskatchewan.

ESTEVAN - The latest extreme cold warning for southeast Saskatchewan has come to an end.

The warning was lifted at 10:37 a.m. on Sunday, less than 24 hours after it was issued. Temperatures are expected to remain below normal on Sunday, and then a warming trend is expected to begin on Monday. 

The previous extreme cold warning for Estevan was in effect from Wednesday to Friday. 

Also, a blowing snow advisory that was in effect for the southeast has been lifted. It was issued at 1:38 p.m. and ended at 6:28 p.m.
