For the second time this year, the Estevan Comprehensive School has been evacuated because of a bomb threat.

The Estevan Police Service has announced that at 10:58 they received a report of a bomb threat at the school. Police and school officials made the decision to evacuate ECS and sent students from Estevan home while rural students went to another location in the city. There have been no reports of injuries to staff or students.

A team comprised of EPS members, RCMP, Estevan Fire Rescue Services, Emergency Medical Services and ECS staff are currently investigating the threat. The EPS is asking parents and students and members of the public to stay away from the school until further notice.

Anyone with information on the threat is asked to call the Estevan Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

As of 3 p.m. today ECS was cleared and students were allowed to come back into the school. No bomb was found in the search of the school.
