CAA Scholarships available to Sask High School Graduates

Graduating high school students who require financial assistance to help them continue their education are invited to learn more about CAA Saskatchewan's scholarship program.

Three annual entrance scholarships of $2,500 each are offered to students attending the province's major post-secondary educational facilities: University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina and SIAST. Applicants must be either a CAA Saskatchewan member or child of a member, and be a resident of Saskatchewan. The official name is the CAA Saskatchewan Centennial Merit Scholarship.

Applicants are evaluated on academic excellence, economic needs and other factors, including participation in extra-curricular activities or community involvement. The successful candidates are determined by the educational institution.

Application forms are available from each institution. The deadline for the University of Saskatchewan is February 15. The University of Regina the deadline for all awards is term and the deadline for SIAST will depend on the start of the program.

The CAA Saskatchewan Scholarship Program was established in 2006 as part of CAA's commitment to the progress and success of the province. CAA Saskatchewan also awards one scholarship to a CAA Saskatchewan employee or child of an employee.
