The interior of the Comp Cafetorium stands exposed as work crews demolish the structure at the high school as part of the second contract for renovations and new construction at the Comp. The auditorium and cafeteria is being replaced with the Triple C Centre and the Colleen Weimer Hallway, the new construction on the high school. Once all the demolition of the brick areas of the Comp is done, construction will get underway for the new junior high classrooms, and the new space for the Southeast Regional College Weyburn campus as part of contract two for the multi-year project. Once completed, the Comp will house the Grades 7 to 12 under one roof, and the current Junior High will then be replaced by a new elementary school building, and QE and Haig Schools will then close.
