The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the plans for the President's Dinner and Annual General Meeting.
"We're pretty excited this year to welcome Saskatchewan Roughriders President and CEO Jim Hopson to Weyburn," announced Chamber Manager Jeff Richards. "With Weyburn in its Centennial Year, and the Grey Cup only an hour away this year, we thought that Mr. Hopson would be a great addition to our year," added Richards.
In addition, the Chamber presents the Golden Spike at the Presidents Dinner each year. For over 30 years the Chamber has presented the Golden Spike to someone who has made an outstanding contribution to our community through their volunteer services during the years preceding the date of the Award. Golden Spike nomination forms can be downloaded from the Chamber website at weyburnchamber.com and the nomination deadline is March 21.
The President's Dinner will take place on March 26 at McKenna Hall in Weyburn.
