The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce held its annual Summer Parade on Thursday, with over 70 floats entered. Although the judges had a difficult time, in the end they made their selections.
The Chamber Parade award winners in the three categories are as follows:
• In the business category: RoughBark Acres
• In the organization category: Sun Country Riding Club/Weyburn Riding and Driving Club
• The best float by an Individual: Ryan Bobier
The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who entered the Parade, the City Police, City of Weyburn, the Fire Department, McDonald’s and the strong downtown business community for their efforts to make this parade one for the record book. In addition, the Chamber was grateful to the hundreds of people who came out to see the Parade and kick off Weyburn’s 2019 summer and Weyburn Fair Days.
