During the month of March, the City of Weyburn issued over $2 million in building permits.
The city issued 12 building permits; two were commercial additions with a construction value of $250,000, seven permits were issued for new mobile homes with a total construction value of $1,610,000 and one permit was issued for a new detached dwelling unit with a construction value of $400,000.
Two permits were issued for residential detached garages with a construction value of $30,000.
A total of 27 building permits have been issued by the City of Weyburn this year, to date. This is up from 15 issued in the same period last year, although construction value was down $3 million this year as compared to last year for the same period.
