On Saturday, police responded to a report of mischief on Ninth Street, as a person had set off a fire extinguisher inside a vehicle; the investigation is ongoing.
Also Saturday, while on patrol, police noticed several mirrors that were broken or tampered with at an apartment complex on 18th Street; the investigation is ongoing.
On Friday, police responded to a call on 18th Street, where a theft occurred, as a red slip tank with an electric pump attached was stolen from the back of a victim's truck. The investigation is ongoing.
Police responded to a report of mischief on Dieppe Drive on Friday, where someone had driven through a home-owner's fence. The investigation is ongoing.
Police responded to an altercation of two youths at the Comp School on Feb. 27; the investigation is continuing, and charges are pending. There were no injuries.
The same day, police responded to a complaint of a vehicle coming into Weyburn at a very high rate of speed; the vehicle was not found, but on Feb. 28, police observed the same suspect vehicle travelling at a very high rate of speed, and the driver was charged accordingly.
On Feb. 25, police received a report that a male was not complying with his probation order and was out past curfew; the male was located and charged accordingly.
The same say, an elderly woman was found by police walking in an industrial area seeming to be lost; police took the woman to her daughter's house.
Police responded to a restaurant on Mar. 1, where there was a report of an intoxicated male who would not leave. When the police arrived, the subject left peacefully and was taken home.
While on patrol on Mar. 1, police came across a man who was passed out and intoxicated; after making sure the male was all right, he was taken to his hotel where he was staying.
On Mar. 2, police were called to a drinking establishment to help remove an intoxicated male. When the police arrived, the subject tried causing problems with people outside and was arrested for being drunk in public.
Police were called out again to a drinking establishment on Mar. 2 in regards to a fight. It was found the two subjects were having a disagreement; they were sent on their way and told not to return.
Police responded to a report of a fight at a downtown bar on Mar. 3; when police arrived they were told they had left. The suspect was stopped by police and the driver was charged with impaired driving.
