Weyburn Co-operative Association Ltd is dedicated to the community of Weyburn. Weyburn Co-op has supported organizations that strive to improve our community.

The Co-op has similar goals for community support and development as Habitat for Humanity. Weyburn Co-op and Weyburn Habitat for Humanity both seek to improve the quality of life for citizens of Weyburn.

Co-op's slogan 'You're at home here' reflects the value and importance that the association places on homes and therefore it is fitting for them to team up with Habitat for Humanity to help provide a family in the community with a home.

Co-op is commitment to supporting Habitat for Humanity in two different ways. One is to provide building materials at cost for all purchases through Co-op Home Centre. Not only are these purchases at a substantially reduced price, Habitat is also eligible for patronage refunds. Secondly, Weyburn Co-op is supporting Habitat for Humanity by providing a lump sum cash donation of $25,000 to assist with any costs of the project.

This is just one of the ways that Weyburn Co-op is moving ahead while giving back.
