- Stained glass workshop at the Estevan Public Library at 11 a.m. teaches the art form to mothers and teenaged children.
- Teen back to school décor at the Estevan Public Library at 3:30 p.m.
- SMILE Services Estevan Parade at 4 p.m. will make its way through downtown Estevan and other streets of the city.
- Dedication ceremony at 5 p.m. will see Mets Stadium at the south end of Woodlawn Regional Park renamed Lingelbach Field at Mets Stadium after Joe Lingelbach.
- Estevan CCA Rodeo at 7 p.m. will be the first of two nights of rodeo performances. Second performance is the following night at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 24:
- Estevan Light Horse Show at the Estevan Exhibition Grounds is an all-day event.
- Estevan Farmers’ Market Sale at the Estevan Shoppers Mall at 9 a.m.
- Decorating cell phone cases at the Estevan Public Library at 10:30 a.m.
- Estevan Police Service open house at 11 a.m. will feature family activities, police station tours and other attractions.
- Heretics Motorcycle Club’s Ride for Memphis will start at noon at the Black Grasshopper Pub, and be a fundraiser for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in memory of Memphis White.
- Dustin Pratt Memorial Redneck Golf Tournament at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club at 1 p.m. Money raised will be used to help people in the community.
- Chess club at the Estevan Public Library at 1:30 p.m.
- Cooking with asma chicken red curry at the Estevan Public Library at 2 p.m.
- Third annual Glow Paddle on the Souris River is a canoe/kayak event that starts at the free park at Woodlawn Regional Park at 5:30 p.m.
- Estevan Motor Speedway season championship at 7 p.m. will see the track champions crowned in the different classes.
- Estevan Rodeo Party in the Dirt at 9 p.m. will happen after the second night of rodeo action.
Sunday, Aug. 25:
- Kids Rodeo at the Estevan Exhibition Grounds at 10 a.m. gives young people a chance to enjoy rodeo activities.
Monday, Aug. 26:
- Swimming at the Hillcrest Paddling Pool at 1 p.m. is offered each day through Friday.
- Lego Night at Woodlawn Regional Park at 6 p.m. is a program for families in the park’s gazebo.
- Estevan city council meeting at city hall at 6 p.m.
- Last blast of summer at the Southern Plains Co-op’s Estevan grocery store at 7 p.m. will see children build their own cardboard vehicles and then watch a drive-in movie.
Tuesday, Aug. 27:
- Walk the Talk walking group at Affinity Place at 10:30 a.m. is a weekly program offered by the Estevan Public Library.
- Bubble party at the Estevan Public Library at 4 p.m. will see children create bubbles of varying shapes and sizes.
- Teen board game night at the Estevan Public Library at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 28:
- Story time at the beach at the Woodlawn Regional Park’s Boundary Dam site at 10:30 a.m. is a weekly program hosted by the Estevan Public Library.
- Teen National Bow-tie Day at the Estevan Public Library at 4 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 29:
- Personalized mug at the Estevan Public Library at 2 p.m.
- Trinity Tower 30th anniversary celebration at Trinity Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. will have speeches and music to mark the milestone anniversary.
- Tween Choose your Adventure at 4 p.m.
- Teen back to school fashion fair at the Second Chance Thrift Store at 4 p.m. is a program offered by the Estevan Public Library and Choose Life Ministry.
- Dessert and a documentary at the Estevan Public Library at 6 p.m.
- Saskatchewan Express concert at Woodlawn Regional Park’s Boundary Dam beach site at 7 p.m. pays tributes to classic movie songs.
Friday, Aug. 30:
- Power Dodge Estevan Bruins hockey camp at Affinity Place will see returning players and rookies vying for roster spots.
- Saskatchewan in motion Community Chase at the Estevan Exhibition Grounds at 1:30 p.m. is an event designed to keep families active.
