The Board of Directors for Access Communications Co-operative has announced that Nick Coroluick, a long-time member of the Weyburn business community, has been elected Chair of the Board for 2013.

"It is an absolute privilege to have the opportunity to steward one of Saskatchewan's proud co-operatives," said Coroluick, who previously served as both the president of the Weyburn and District United Way, as well as a member of the Weyburn City Council. "Access has come to represent the very best of the communities it serves, and this board - with a strong mix of men and women from across the province - will undoubtedly help to keep that tradition alive."

A resident of Weyburn, Mr. Coroluick is the office manager and a sales associate at Minard's Leisure World. In years past, Mr. Coroluick also had the honour of serving as the national vice president of the Canada Jaycees, as well as the volunteer coordinator for the 2004 Saskatchewan Summer Games, and most recently, as the vice-chair of the Access Communications board of directors in 2012.

Newly elected to the Access board are Dale Ripplinger and Bernadette McIntyre. Dale Ripplinger is a leading real estate agent in Regina; is a past president of the Canadian Real Estate Association; and was the Chair of Telemiracle 13. Bernadette McIntyre is the CEO of the Wascana Centre Authority and co-chair of the 2013 Grey Cup Festival Committee. Ms. McIntyre is also a current director of the Canadian Capital Cities Organization as well as former governor of the Canadian Curling Association and past chair of EVRAZ Place.

"We are excited to welcome Dale and Bernadette to the Access Board of Directors," said Coroluick. "They both bring a wealth of experience and are proven leaders locally, provincially and nationally. Our board looks forward to working alongside them to continue Access's path of growth and to further establish our Co-operative's role as a good neighbour in its member communities."
