Grand Re-opening events were held on September 23, at the Weyburn Credit Union in celebration of the completed renovations. The ceremonies included a ribbon cutting and official speeches, and also included a community barbecue, with all proceeds going to The Family Place.
Don Shumlich, CEO of the Weyburn Credit Union, would like to thank customers and staff for their patience during the renovation phase. Though there may still be some minor construction taking place, it is not expected to cause any delays.
