Marco Cubillos and Ryan Goodfellow, professional divers from Aquatech Diving Services, complete the cleaning and inspection of the First Avenue reservoir on Thursday. The Ministry of Environment advised the City of Weyburn that it was necessary to clean all the reservoirs and perform a modified flush of the system, before more tests are taken to show that the system is clear. Until this work is completed, a precautionary drinking water advisory will still be in affect for Weyburn. Residents are advised that the cleaning of the reservoirs and flushing of the system may cause the water to have some discolouration, and there was an increase to the amount of chlorine added to the water.
