ESTEVAN - Members of the Estevan Police Service received 65 calls for service from Friday afternoon until Monday morning.

Police received a report of an assault.  Two individuals were alleged to have assaulted the victim at his residence.  The matter is still under investigation.

Members arrested two Estevan males for breaching their court order conditions.  They were both lodged in cells.  One was remanded until Monday morning to appear in Estevan Provincial Court.  The individual was released on the weekend before a Justice of the Peace.

Police received a request for assistance from a Estevan resident.  The individual had fallen in their yard and wasn’t able to get up.  The caller didn’t require medical assistance.  Police attended and assisted the individual with getting on their feet.

Officers received a number of separate reports of individuals posting things on social media that were reported to be untruthful.  The police spoke to the parties involved and the posts were removed.  Police remind the public to be conscious of what is posted on social media as even if they aren’t criminal in nature they may become a civil matter for the courts.  Often times there are other avenues to pursue remedy over a dispute that should be pursued rather then social media.

Police were called to a local business to a report of an individual causing a disturbance.  The individual had went outside and the staff locked him out.  The individual then began banging on the door.  He left prior to police arriving.  The matter is still under investigation.
