The Estevan Comprehensive School was evacuated for a period of time Thursday after a fire.
The Estevan Police Service reports that staff and students were forced to leave the school after a fire broke out in a main floor washroom Thursday morning.
No injuries were reported in the blaze which was extinguished by staff members before the EPS and Estevan Fire Rescue Service arrived. Students were able to return to classes a short time after the fire was reported. The washroom reportedly suffered fire and smoke damage.
Although the investigation into the fire is ongoing, the EPS reported that a 15-year-old has been charged with mischief in relation to the incident.
