Flashback - Feb. 9, 1983

This week's Flashback is from a 1983 edition of the Estevan Mercury. Regardless of whether it was in the 1980s, or in present day Estevan, young people enjoyed getting out and enjoying activities outdoors.

Some use toboggans for sliding down hills and others use sleighs. But not Melissa Robbins and Carey Anton. Sunday afternoon they were making use of a used inner tube to enjoy sliding down a hill behind Trinity Lutheran Church.

This week's Flashback is from a 1983 edition of the Estevan Mercury.

Regardless of whether it was in the 1980s, or in present day Estevan, young people enjoyed getting out and enjoying activities outdoors. And in this 1983 photo, children found a different way to slide down the hill. 

Now that Estevan has a healthy blanket of snow, children will certainly be enjoying activities outdoors once the weather warms up.
