Capt. Mike Mailman places some canned meat into the shelves at the Food Bank for the Weyburn Salvation Army, which is one of the products that is getting low. There is a high demand for pasta, canned meat, health school snacks, canned vegetables and fruit, and ground beef. There are some upcoming food drives where residents can donate their non-perishable food items to the Salvation Army, including "Stamp Out Hunger" on Saturday, Sept. 28, and the annual Farm Credit Canada (FCC) food drive at the schools.
