Christine Tell, minister of Corrections and Policing, presents the Queen's Jubilee medal to Bill Millar, executive director of the Saskatchewan Association of Police Chiefs and former Weyburn police chief, during the formal banquet held for the police chiefs provincial conference on Apr. 16 at the Travelodge. Later in the banquet, the gathered members for the police chiefs conference gave Millar a standing ovation for his five years of service as executive director, and his many years as a police officer and chief in Weyburn before that.
