'Tis the season of being too busy to make meals from scratch, but instead of having the same old frozen entrees, Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop presents busy families in Weyburn and area with a chance to purchase delicious entrees while supporting a worthy cause. Helping the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop work towards providing a safe, accessible building for all citizens has never been easier - just thaw and cook!

In partnership with Dinner's Maid (www.dinnersmaid.com), Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop offers six options for homemade meals that can be purchased in the month of October and enjoyed anytime throughout the winter. The Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop Corp. will receive a portion of every meal sold to go directly towards their goal of raising $500,000 for this project, which is anticipated to break ground in spring 2012.

Dinner's Maid prepares homemade, nutritious meals in a local, certified kitchen which feed a family of four to six people. With six delicious options to choose from, including Garlic Shrimp Fettucine Alfredo and Caesar Crusted Pork Tenderloin, supporters of the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop can stock up on homemade goodness!

"These meals are absolutely perfect for busy parents running kids to activities, university students and those who just never know what to make", said Andria Brady, Executive Director of Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop. "We are very excited about this opportunity to partner with another local organization to raise funds towards our new Day Program Building."

Until October 28 you can pre-purchase your meals from any board or staff member, or by calling 842-3411.
