The staff and students would like to thank Mrs. Rutten and her SLT group for the amazing year. They worked so hard building school spirit all year long! A member of the team, Grace Smyth, is going to the Philippines for two weeks this summer to work with a charity to try to get young people off the streets and into schools. G.F. Kells would like to wish her luck and thank her for her commitment to trying to make the world a better place. The funds from the June 20th Hat Day will go to this cause. If you would like to make a donation of money, educational, or first aid supplies, it can be dropped off at the office.
The Class of 2013 Graduation Ceremony will be held at the rink on Wed. June 26 at 7:00PM. Everyone is welcome for the arena seating.
High school students in grades 10-12 will be writing Final Exams from Friday, June 21, until Wednesday, June 26. On Friday, June 21, in the morning, the grade 10's write ELA, the 11's write Math, and the 12's write ELA. On Monday, June 24, in the morning, the grade 10's write Math, the 11's write ELA, and the 12's write Math. On Tuesday, June 25, in the morning, the grade 10's write Science and the 12's write Biology. In the afternoon, the grade 11's and 12's write Physics. On Wednesday, June 26, in the morning, the grade 10's write Accounting and the grade 11's write Psychology.
The last day of classes for all students is Wed. June 26.
Report Cards can be picked up on Friday, June 28th from 9:00am to 11:00am. Please make arrangements to have them picked up if at all possible.
Don't forget to check out the Lost and Found by year's end. This is found at the front entrance of the school.
With the end of the year near, we would like to ask parents to please check bedrooms and backpacks for school library books. We need to get in all of these books before students leave for summer. Thanks.
